GOALS
1. Build a career in the accounts and/or strategic area of advertising 2. Work internationally 3. Always keep learning 4. Be proud of my work, of my company, and of my actions 5. Use advertising to do good and to inspire change in the world |
I believe there is a rule in life that goes a little something like this: the things you love most are those that come when you aren't looking. I'm not discrediting hard work or dedication; I just think things always have a funny way of working out just the way they should.
And as this rule of life goes, my love for advertising sort of just happened. After numerous change of majors (heck, I tried everything from social work to thoughts of interior design and law school), my journalism degree at Indiana University started simply because no other eight week course fit into my schedule. And although reporting isn't quite my cup of tea, the advertising track I've taken within the School of Journalism (paired with minors in marketing and psychology) has shown me a career can be much more than a job- it can be your passion. I may not have a breadth of creatives to present, but the accounts side of advertising is where my true passion is anyway. And with my earnest curiosity and enthusiastic dedication to everything I do, the more I immerse myself into the advertising industry the more my passion grows. |
